We are Jon Haidet and Karen Starr, partners in life and work, and we have moved our existing custom picture framing and interior redesign businesses under one beautiful, historic roof…the former Norka Futon Building on Akron’s West Market Street.

In addition to housing our studios, we opened up the space as a showroom to house an eclectic mix of home décor elements. Hazel Tree features and sells locally-made furniture and accessories, redesigned or repurposed pieces, regional art, vintage finds and architectural salvage.

The showroom also provides a space to visit and gain inspiration through examples of decorating options available through Karen’s interior redesign business.
